A Construction Schedule will go into effect on May 20 and will last throughout the summer. Mid-day inbound trains will operate express between Ballardvale & North Station. For service to Boston, consider a free connection with MBTA Bus #137. Starts May 20 4:30AM
Passengers may also consider connecting with Lowell and Haverhill Line train service at Anderson/Woburn.

The construction schedule is now available on MBTA.com and for pick up at North Station.

On Monday, May 27th (Memorial Day), Thursday, July 4th (Independence Day) and Monday, September 2nd (Labor Day), all lines will operate on a weekend schedule.

On Wednesday, June 19th (Juneteenth), Friday, July 5th (Day after Independence Day), and Monday, October 14th (Columbus Day), all lines will operate on a regular weekday schedule.More...

On the weekend of May 18-19, shuttle buses will replace train service between Reading and North Station on the Haverhill Line. Trains will make all stops between Haverhill and Ballardvale and stop at Anderson/Woburn on the Lowell Line. Started May 18 4:30AM Until May 20 2:30AM
- Buses will also provide service between Reading and Anderson/Woburn to connect with Haverhill Line or Lowell Line trains.

- Passengers between Reading and Malden Center may also consider MBTA Bus #137 as an alternative option.

-Additional Orange Line Express shuttle buses will operate between Oak Grove and North Station every 10-15 minutes from 7:30 am until 11:30 pm. They will serve Oak Grove, Malden Center & North Station only.

- A diversion schedule will be in effect. It is now available on the MBTA website

- There will be no bus or train service at North Wilmington Station. Passengers will be advised to consider a connection with the Lowell Line at Wilmington station (1.9 miles of distance).

- This allows for work in support of MassDOT’s Maffa Way/Mystic Avenue Bridge Superstructure Replacement project.More...
